2 Fort Sam Officers Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Interstate 35 North near George C. Beach Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (January 6, 2020) – Two Fort Sam officers were injured Sunday night in a suspected DUI crash in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. January 5, on Interstate 35 North near George C. Beach Avenue.

Police said the officers were at a red light when they were rear-ended by another vehicle.

Both officers were treated at the scene.

The other driver was checked out for suspicion of drunk driving.

The crash remains under investigation.
