2 Injured in Watauga Two-Vehicle Crash on Denton Highway (377) near Watauga Road

Watauga, Texas (January 18, 2020) – Two people were injured early Saturday morning following a T-bone crash in Watauga, a local news source reported.

The crash happened in the 6200 block of Denton Highway (377) just south of Watauga Road.

According to the report, a vehicle was pulling out of a vape store parking lot when it was t-boned by another vehicle on the highway.

One of the drivers had to be extricated by firefighters. 

One person was airlifted to Harris Methodist Fort Worth while another victim was transported by ground ambulance. Their conditions were not disclosed.

The crash closed the highway, but it has since been reopened.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
