Corpus Christi, Texas (February 16, 2020) – Two people were killed early Saturday morning in a head-on collision in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened at about 2:00 a.m. February 15, on Harbor Bridge (Highway 181) near Port Avenue.

Police said a man in his 40s was driving a pickup truck the wrong way on the southbound lane when he crashed head-on into a small SUV driven by a woman in her 30s.

Both drivers were declared dead at the scene.

Investigators said alcohol might have been a factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
