2 Men Killed and Several Injured in East Austin Car Crash at Colfax Drive and N Imperial Drive

Austin, Texas (November 18, 2019) – Two people were killed, and multiple others were injured Sunday night in a head-on collision in east Austin, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash occurred just after 9:00 p.m. November 17, at the intersection of Colfax Drive and N Imperial Drive.

Officials said vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons at the intersection.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman in her 20s was airlifted to the hospital with serious, potentially critical injuries. Another woman in her 20s was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center in an unknown condition. A female child was taken to Dell Children’s Hospital with potentially serious injuries.

One person declined transportation.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
