Ty Reimer, Myra Davidson Injured in Head-On Crash on RR 255 in Jasper

Ty Reimer and Myra Davidson Injured in Jasper Two-Vehicle Crash on Recreational Road 255 at Lake Rayburn Dam

Jasper, Texas (March 13, 2023) – Four people were injured Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision in Jasper, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened shortly before 3:00 p.m., March 12, on Recreational Road 255 on top of the Lake Rayburn Dam.

DPS said an eastbound 2007 Toyota pickup truck driven by 37-year-old Ty Reimer, of Bowie, crossed into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a westbound 2020 Ford pickup truck, driven by 75-year-old Myra Davidson, of Brookeland.

Reimer was airlifted to a Kingwood hospital for treatment. Davidson and two other passengers in her truck were taken to a Lufkin hospital for treatment.

No other information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
