Tytianna Weatherspoon Seriously Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (May 29, 2023) – A 17-year-old was seriously injured Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident happened just before 5:00 a.m., May 27, in the 3300 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police said Tytianna Weatherspoon, 17, was walking in the area when she was struck by a westbound vehicle.

Weatherspoon was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
