Vanessa Davis and Jason Davis Killed in Sabine County Three-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 21

Sabine County, Texas (January 18, 2021) – Three people were killed in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night in Sabine County, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 7:05 p.m., January 16, on State Highway 21, just east of the Pendleton Bridge near the Louisiana border.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2021 passenger car failed to yield the right of way and was struck by an eastbound 2010 GMC pickup truck. The GMC then went into the westbound lane, and it was struck by a 2016 Chevrolet pickup.

The GMC driver, Vanessa Davis, 28, of Bronson, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passengers, Jason Davis, 38, of Bronson, and Ralph Hill, 48, of Hemphill, were also pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toyota driver, Curtis Harrison, 44, of Hemphill, was airlifted to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport for treatment.

The driver and the passenger of the Chevrolet were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
