Veronica Felon Killed in Car Accident on S Garfield Street in Midland

Veronica Felon Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on S Garfield Street

Midland, Texas (June 30, 2020) – According to police, a woman was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Midland.

The deadly crash happened on June 29, in the 1800 block of S Garfield Street.

Police said a car was heading northbound on the street when it tried to turn sharply into the southbound lanes and spun out of control. 

The car was then hit by a pickup truck.

Veronica Felon, 47, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, where she later died. The car driver was also taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The pickup driver sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
