Victor Velasquez ID’d as 1 of 2 Victims Killed in Longview Crash on Loop 281
Longview, Texas (August 9, 2019) – Vince Velasques, 28, has been identified as one of the two people who were killed Tuesday in a three-car accident in Longview.
The tragic wreck was reported at an unspecified time Tuesday, August 6 on Loop 281.
Authorities said a Dodge pickup was heading northbound on Loop 281 when it crossed over into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry driven by a 21-year-old woman.
The Toyota then collided with a Nissan.
Vince Velasques and a 1-year-old child were pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. Both were passengers of the Toyota.
The 21-year-old woman driving the Toyota and a 2-year-old child, also a passenger of the Toyota, were both taken to a hospital with major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
