Waldemar Barrios Struck, Killed by Car near West Keist Boulevard and Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas

Waldemar Barrios ID’d as Construction Worker Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident near West Keist Boulevard and Mountain Creek Parkway
Dallas, Texas (May 31, 2019) – The construction worker who was killed in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday in Dallas has been identified as Waldemar Barrios, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened on Tuesday, May 28, near the intersection of West Keist Boulevard and Mountain Creek Parkway.
Police said 67-year-old Michael Whinery, of Lancaster, was driving a car when he lost control of his car and rolled the vehicle near the intersection hitting Barrios.
Barrios was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Whinery and a second construction worker were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Whinery was pronounced dead on Thursday.
The police are investigating the crash.
