Walter Frank Raab Killed and Skylar Sharon Anderon Injured in Victoria Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 87

Victoria, Texas (October 14, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Victoria County, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m., October 12, on Highway 87.

Authorities said Walter Frank Raab was driving a 2018 Honda Civic northbound while 17-year-old Skylar Sharon Anderon was driving southbound.

For unknown reasons, Anderon crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into the Civic.

Raab was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anderon was taken to Citizens Medical Center in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
