Wardah Ansari Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on Washington Boulevard

Beaumont, Texas (July 7, 2020) – A woman was killed Friday night in a pedestrian accident in Beaumont, police said.

The deadly accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. July 3, in the 3100 block of Washington Boulevard.

Police said Wardah Ansari, 28, of Beaumont, was walking in the westbound construction zone when she was struck by a vehicle.

Ansari was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
