Wendy S. Bryan Killed, Johnny E. Johnson Injured in Ector County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Loop 338

Ector County, Texas (October 19, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Ector County, according to the DPS.

The crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. on October 16, on State Loop 338.

DPS said Wendy S. Bryan, 40 of Crane, was driving a Nissan Sentra southbound on State Loop 338 while Johnny E. Johnson, 54, of Odessa, was driving a truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer northbound.

The Nissan then entered the northbound lane and crashed head-on into the truck.

Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Johnson was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
