Austin, Texas – A 27-year-old man was killed on Saturday in a motorcycle crash in Southeast Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.

The fatal crash happened around 9:24 p.m., June 8, in the 4600 block of Teri Road near East Stassney Lane.

Police said a motorcycle crossed into the oncoming traffic lane and hit a vehicle.

The motorcyclist, William Heinz-Phillip Fountain, was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not impaired.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information is asked to call APD’s Vehicular Homicide unit at 512-974-8111.
