William Munoz Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Dyer Street in Northeast El Paso

42-Year-Old William Munoz Killed in Northeast El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Dyer Street

El Paso, Texas (March 8, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed Friday evening in a hit-and-run crash in northeast El Paso, according to the police.

The accident occurred at about 6:45 p.m. March 6, in the 11000 block of Dyer Street near Angora Loop.

According to investigators, William Munoz, 42, of El Paso, was walking along the street when he was hit by a vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Munoz was taken to the hospital with serious injuries where he later died.

The police are looking for the suspect. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run driver is asked to call the department’s Special Traffic Investigators at (915) 212-4080 or dial the police non-emergency number of (915) 832-4400. 

An investigation into the crash is underway.
