Woman, 2 Children Injured in Two-vehicle Accident on Roosevelt Avenue and Southcross Road in San Antonio

3 Injured in San Antonio Car Accident at Roosevelt Avenue and Southcross Road

San Antonio, Texas (July 8, 2019) – A woman and two children were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday night in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The incident took place at around 8 p.m. Sunday, July 7, in the 2700 block of Roosevelt Avenue at Southcross Road.

Police said a Ford Explorer was traveling westbound on Southcross Road when, for unknown reasons, it struck the curb and lost control.  The Ford was pushed into the path of oncoming traffic and it T-boned a silver Toyota.

A girl riding in the silver car sustained life-threatening injuries. The woman driving the silver car and a young boy were left with serious injuries. The three victims were all transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Police said the driver of the Explorer was suspected to be intoxicated.

The crash is under investigation.
