Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Renwick Drive
Houston, Texas – The woman who was critically injured last Sunday in a hit-and-run accident in Houston has died, according to the Houston Police Department.
The accident happened around 4:00 p.m., May 26, in the 7900 block of Renwick Drive.
Police said the woman was walking on a sidewalk when a southbound white Jeep Cherokee struck a curb and hit her.
The Jeep fled the scene after the accident.
The woman was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced dead on May 29.
The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information on the identity of the wanted driver or on the Jeep is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
