Woman Hospitalized after Lufkin Pedestrian Crash on Timberland Drive

Lufkin, Texas (June 4, 2019) – A woman was struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday morning in Lufkin, according to the Lufkin Police Department.

The incident took place at about 5:35 a.m. on Timberland Drive.

Police said a woman was trying to cross the roadway when she entered the path of a Chevy Camaro traveling southbound on Timberland Drive, leading to the crash.

The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The crash is under investigation.
