Woman Killed in Northwest Houston Pedestrian Accident on Antoine at Fairview Forest Drive

Houston, Texas (April 28, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler Monday afternoon in northwest Houston, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 1:00 p.m. on April 27, in the 9000 block of Antoine at Fairview Forest Drive.

Investigators said the woman might have lunged in front of the semi-truck and was hit.

The truck dragged the woman for about 100 feet. 

She was killed in the accident. Her name has not been released.

The accident closed the northbound lanes of Antoine.

No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
