Woman Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Accident on Airport Boulevard

Austin, Texas (December 3, 2020) – A woman was hit and killed by a car last month in East Austin, according to police.

The accident happened around 10:00 p.m., November 13, in the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard near Goodwin Avenue.

Police said a black 2014 Chevy Impala was traveling southbound toward Goodwin Avenue when it struck a woman who was in a part of the roadway that wasn’t designated for pedestrians.

The woman was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, where she died six days later. Her name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
