Woman Hit, Killed by Intoxicated Driver on Loop 410 in San Antonio

Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on NW Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (January 30, 2022) – A woman was fatally hit by an intoxicated driver early Sunday morning in San Antonio, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 2:15 a.m., January 30, on NW Loop 410 between IH 10 and Fredericksburg Road.

Police said the woman was attempting to cross the highway when she was struck by a westbound gray 2019 Dodge Charger.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The driver of the Charger stopped at the scene after the accident. They showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for DWI.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
