Woman Hit, Killed by Truck on S. W.W. White Road in San Antonio

Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on S. W.W. White Road

San Antonio, Texas (May 13, 2021) – A woman in her 60s was fatally hit by a pickup truck Tuesday night in San Antonio’s Southeast Side, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:30 p.m., May 11, in the 2000 block of S. W.W. White Road.

Police said the woman was walking across the street from westbound to eastbound, outside of a crosswalk, when she stopped in the right lane for an oncoming vehicle to slow down. She was then struck by a northbound Ford F150.

The Ford driver and passenger stopped and attempted to help the woman.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.
