Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Spring Rain

San Antonio, Texas (February 27, 2020) – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident happened around 7:20 a.m., near the 11500 block of Spring Rain.

Police said the woman stepped onto the roadway and was hit by a vehicle.

The woman was taken to University Hospital with a life-threatening head injury, where she later died.

It is unclear if the driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
