Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle on State Highway 6 N in Houston

Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 6 N

Houston, Texas (December 19, 2022) – A woman died after she was struck by a vehicle Thursday night in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The fatal crash happened at about 10:25 p.m. Thursday, December 15, in the 2700 block of State Highway 6 N.

Houston police said the woman was walking in the right lane of the road when a white Toyota Tundra hit her.

The woman, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The involved driver stopped at the scene and was cooperative, police said.

An investigation is ongoing.
