86-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Fondren Road

Houston, Texas (October 19, 2019) – An 86-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday morning in Houston, according to the HPD

The deadly accident happened at about 10:10 a.m. October 16, at 6800 Fondren Road.

HPD said a black Honda Pilot was traveling southbound on Fondren Road with a green light. It then turned westbound onto Bellaire Boulevard where it hit the woman who was crossing northbound in the crosswalk. 

The woman was rushed to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where she was declared dead.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

An investigation is underway.
