24-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Waco Pedestrian Accident on West Cypress and San Pedro Avenue
Waco, Texas (March 27, 2019) – A 24-year-old woman was seriously injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in Waco, according to a police report.
The crash occurred at about 10:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23 off the intersection of West Cypress Street and San Pedro Avenue.
As per the report, the woman was hit by a vehicle while she was trying to cross the street.
The woman sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver involved the fled the scene after the accident. A witness followed that motorist to a nearby Whataburger where authorities later arrested the person. The driver faces charges for failure to stop and render aid.
