Woman Injured in Beaumont Train Crash at Helbig Road and East Lucas Drive

Beaumont, Texas (June 7, 2022) – A woman was injured Monday night in a train crash in Beaumont, according to the police.

The crash happened shortly after 7:15 p.m., June 6, at the intersection of Helbig Road and East Lucas Drive.

Police said a woman was driving a Nissan Cube when she was struck by a train at the intersection.

The impact pushed the Nissan more than 100 feet from the intersection.

The woman was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
