San Antonio, Texas – A woman was injured early Saturday morning after her vehicle collided with a train in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on May 18, near the Alamodome at Austin Street and Burleson Street.

Police said the woman attempted to cross the train tracks when she saw the warning lights turn on and the train arms coming down. She panicked and stopped her car on the tracks. The train was unable to stop in time and crashed into the vehicle, spinning it around and dragging it down the tracks.

The woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The police are investigating the crash.
