Woman Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on Avenue L. at on S. Jackson Street

San Angelo, Texas (July 20, 2019) – A woman was injured in a rollover crash Friday morning in the Santa Rita neighborhood, according to a local news source.

The crash took place around 9:30 a.m., July 19, on Avenue L. at S. Jackson Street.

Police said the woman was driving a Ford Expedition eastbound on Avenue L. while a Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 was southbound on S. Jackson St. approaching the intersection with Avenue L.

The driver of the Camaro Z-28 disregarded a stop sign and hit the Expedition.

The impact caused the Expedition to hit a pole and roll over onto its side.

Responding firefighters had to use Jaws-of-Life to extricate the woman.

She was not seriously injured in the crash.

The Z-28 driver was cited for disregarding a stop sign.

The crash remains under investigation.
