Woman Dies in Houston Car Crash on west Bellfort Avenue

Houston, Texas (February 17, 2019) – A woman was killed in a fatal two-vehicle accident on Saturday night in Meyerland, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened at about 7:02 p.m. February 16, in the 4998 block of West Bellfort Avenue at Balmforth Lane.
Police said a woman coming from a stop sign at the intersection collided with a westbound car.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver was transported to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation to determine the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
