Woman Dies in El Paso Pedestrian Crash on Airport Road

El Paso, Texas (April 15, 2019) – A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision involving a hit-and-run driver on Saturday night in El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.
The crash was reported in the 7000 block of Airport Road and Cassidy Road just before 10 p.m., April 13.
Police said a woman in her 40s was pushing a metal cart on the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Airport Road. The driver failed to stop after the incident.
The victim died in the collision. Her identity was not immediately released.
Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle, suspected to be a white Lincoln Town car.
