54-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on East 43rd Street at North Main Street

Houston, Texas (November 20, 2019) – A 54-year-old woman was killed Friday evening in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. November 15, at 200 East 43rd Street at the intersection of North Main Street.

Police said the woman was crossing the intersection when a white dually pickup truck that was traveling eastbound on 43rd Street ran a red light and hit her.

The driver then fled the scene.

The woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
