Woman Killed in Houston Four-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas (December 7, 2020) – An elderly woman was killed in a four-vehicle crash on Sunday in Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on December 6, in the 7600 block of the Southwest Freeway.

Police said the woman was driving a white Toyota sedan on the freeway where crews had tapered down lanes for construction when the Toyota was rear-ended by a black SUV. The collision caused two other cars to also crash.

The woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

Officers said speed was a likely factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
