Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Pinemont Drive in Houston

37-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Pinemont Drive 

Houston, Texas (September 2, 2020) – A 37-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision Friday afternoon in Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash happened at about 4:45 p.m., August 28, in the 4000 block of Pinemont Drive.

Police said the woman was driving a gray Ford Mustang westbound when she failed to stay in a single lane and crossed over into the eastbound lanes where she crashed head-on into a red Subaru Outback. The force of the impact caused the Subaru to hit a white Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. 

The woman was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A 49-year-old female passenger in the Mustang was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest Hospital with minor injuries.

The other two drivers, a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
