Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35 and Weidner Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 15, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by a hit-and-run driver early Sunday morning in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to San Antonio Police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:00 a.m. on the Interstate 35 frontage road at Weidner Road.

Police said the woman was hit by an unknown vehicle on the frontage road. The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
