Woman Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Crash on Jefferson Boulevard at Bishop Avenue

Dallas, Texas (January 4, 2022) – A woman was killed on Christmas Eve in a hit-and-run accident in Dallas, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 10:00 a.m., December 24, in the 300 block of Jefferson Boulevard at Bishop Avenue.

Police said the woman was walking in the crosswalk when she was struck by a 2006-2008 dark-colored Sorento LX with step rails.

The Sorrento dragged the woman for a significant distance. She was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The Sorrento fled the scene heading eastbound on Jefferson. The vehicle might have a handicap placard and a bumper sticker on the bottom left of the rear windshield.
