20-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer Road

Houston, Texas (February 10, 2021) – The 20-year-old woman who was critically injured in a pedestrian accident on February 2 in Houston has died, according to police.

The accident happened around 7:10 p.m., in the 6200 block of Westheimer Road.

Police said the woman was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by an eastbound white Nissan NV200.

The woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she died on February 7. Her name has not been released.

The Nissan driver was not intoxicated at the time of the crash and was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center with minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
