Woman Killed in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash at Garth Road and Barbers Hill Road

Harris County, Texas (January 18, 2021) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in east Harris County, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m., January 17, at the intersection of Garth Road and Barbers Hill Road.

Authorities said the crash involved a truck and an SUV.

A woman was killed in the crash. Her name has not been released.

The other driver attempted to flee the scene but was eventually arrested and taken into custody.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
