Woman Killed in Motorcycle Accident on South Freeway in Houston

31-Year-Old Woman Dies in Fatal Houston Motorcycle Crash on South Freeway (State Highway 288 South) near Holcombe Boulevard

 Houston, Texas (August 31, 2019) – A 31-year-old woman was killed last week Saturday in a traffic accident involving a motorcycle in Houston, according to a police report.

The deadly crash took place at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, August 24 in the 6700 block of South Freeway (State Highway 288 South) service road near Holcombe Boulevard.

As per the police report, a black Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling northbound on the service road when its driver ran a red light and hit a Harley Davidson motorcycle that was heading eastbound on Holcombe Boulevard.

The 31-year-old woman, who was riding as a passenger in the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the motorcycle was uninjured and stopped at the scene.

The Tahoe driver did not stop and fled the scene.
