Woman Dies in Laredo Car Crash on I-35 N near Mall Del Norte

Laredo, Texas (August 19, 2019) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck that took place on Sunday afternoon in Laredo, according to the authorities.

The crash was reported at around 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, on I-35 N near Mall Del Norte.

Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over, ejecting one passenger from the car.

The ejected passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her name was not immediately released.

A 57-year-old man was transported to Doctors Hospital with major injuries.

Two children and two adults were taken to Laredo Medical Center  for treatment.

Three other patients were taken to Doctors Hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
