Woman Struck by Vehicle on I-35 in Austin

Woman Seriously Injured in NE Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (July 15, 2022) – A woman was seriously injured Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in northeast Austin, according to officials.

The accident happened around 9:58 p.m., July 13, in the 7101 block of North Interstate 35 service road northbound near St. Johns Street.

Officials said the woman was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lanes of the interstate.

The woman was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

No other information was immediately available.

An investigation is underway.
