One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Gulf Freeway near Scott Street
Houston, Texas (January 8, 2019) – A woman was fatally struck by a big rig early Tuesday morning on a Houston freeway, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Gulf Freeway near Scott Street.
Houston police said a woman walked in front of an oncoming 18-wheeler for unknown reasons.
The big rig driver didn’t see the woman and hit her. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately disclosed.
The police are investigating the crash.
