Woman Killed in South Abilene Pedestrian Accident on South 1st Street

Abilene, Texas (November 17, 2020) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Monday night in South Abilene, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:30 p.m., November 16, in the 3100 block of South 1st Street.

Police said the woman was struck by a westbound vehicle on the street.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.
