Alvin, Texas (June 8, 2019) – A 60-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday while assessing damage to her car in Alvin, authorities said.

The tragic accident happened on State Highway 288 Friday, June 7.

The KIA driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The occupants of the Dodge truck were not injured.
