Worker Dies in Wolfforth Pedestrian Accident on Highway 62/82 (Brownfield Highway)
Wolfforth, Texas (August 13, 2019) – A worker from Cox Paving of Texas was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Wolfforth, according to a local news source.
The incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on Highway 62/82 (Brownfield Highway) near the westbound frontage road.
As per the report, the worker was standing on the road to perform the duties of his job when he was hit a semi-truck.
The worker was taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
