Xavier Killingsworth Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on South Cooper Street in Arlington

Xavier Killingsworth ID’d as Man Killed in Arlington Crash on South Cooper Street

Arlington, Texas (April 3, 2023) – The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died in a three-car accident early Sunday morning in Arlington as Xavier Killingsworth, 29, of Fort Worth.

The deadly crash happened at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, April 2, in the 5400 block of South Cooper Street.

According to the Arlington police, Killingsworth was driving northbound on South Cooper Street when his 2013 Cadillac CTS collided with a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class going in the same direction.

Killingsworth reportedly lost control of his car and crossed the center median. Killingsworth’s vehicle then collided with a 2004 Ford Excursion that was traveling southbound.

Killingsworth was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the Ford sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Authorities believed alcohol and speed played a role in the crash.

No other information was immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
