Yorluis Cruz Killed in Killeen Motorcycle Crash on South Clear Creek Road

Killeen, Texas (April 7, 2022) – A man was killed early Wednesday morning in a motorcycle crash in Killeen, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:57 a.m., April 6, in the 4900 block of South Clear Creek Road.

Police said Yorluis Cruz, 25, was riding a Suzuki motorcycle southbound in the inside lane while a black Jeep SUV was also traveling southbound in the inside lane in front of the Suzuki.

Cruz failed to control his speed and rear-ended the Jeep.

Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep driver was uninjured in the crash.

The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
