One Killed in North Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35 near Huntland

Austin, Texas – One person was killed early Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in North Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 a.m., in the 6500 block of North Interstate 35 southbound near Huntland.

Officials said a person was pronounced dead at the scene after being involved in a pedestrian accident. The victim’s identity has not been released.

 No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
