Two Injured in Houston Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-45

Houston, Texas (June 14, 2020) – Two people were injured early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash near downtown Houston, according to police.

The crash took place just before 3:00 a.m. on Interstate 45 near the I-10 interchange.

According to police, witnesses said a yellow Corvette was traveling at about 100 mph weaving in and out of traffic when it struck a Jeep and a tow truck before rolling over several times.

The Corvette landed on its roof, ejecting the driver and passenger.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. The passenger was listed in serious condition.

Officers said the Corvette driver is likely to face a charge of reckless driving.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
