2 Dead in Waco Crash at State Highway 31 and Heritage Parkway

Waco, Texas (July 26, 2019) – Two people were killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Waco, a local news source reported.

The deadly wreck took place at around mid-morning Thursday, July 25 at the intersection of State Highway 31 and Heritage Parkway north of Axtell.

As per the report, a pickup was traveling southbound on Highway 31 when the driver of the SUV pulled onto the highway from Heritage Parkway. The SUV was then hit by the pickup.

The driver of the SUV and a passenger who was riding in the pickup were both pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The pickup driver was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

No other details were immediately provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
